There are still people playing fallout new vegas and people still making mods for skyrim. You can do damned near anything to your game with mods in those 2 franchises and it contributes to the longevity of the player base. ![]() And even more in a EA game that needs testing and feedback, and for that you need players that a) play a lot of hours to test everything in the game or b)you enable a console with cheats for those who prefer give feedback trying all the stuff the game has.Įither way in a SP game is legit, and cheats are almost a need in an EA game.Look at how many mods there are for the elder scrolls and fallout series. In my SP game i play the way i like, of course. Now, instead of swinging ♥♥♥♥♥ and chest thumping, lets get back to a friendly discussion. Single player games? Mind your own business. The is no excuse for cheating against other people, if you did it in a card game in the wild west you'd be another footnote at the end of town in the graveyard. Multiplayer? If you cheat you're a scumbag and should be taunted until you cry in your soup and are summarily flogged in the town square. Who cares if you don't like how somebody else plays his or her single player game? Nobody. There is no room for discussion, no room for rants and taunting: it's not your game. Ursprünglich geschrieben von Jaguar:I am of the opinion: You bought the game? Play it however you want in single player mode. like have it permanently say "Cheats enabled in this save" at the top of the screen or something any time you play on that save after enabling a cheat. I think any time you activate a cheat it should show up on your screen that youve enabled cheats in that save game, so that its obvious when someone didnt do it legit. But for finding bugs and glitches, testing the game itself out, especially for someone in a situation like me where i only get a few hours to play in very spread out periods, speeding up the process to get an idea what i want my base to look like instead of gathering resources to rebuild 30+ times because im very OCD about building, I appreciate the ability to cheat. I wouldnt consider anything done like this an accomplishment obviously, nor would I rate the gaming experience based on what was found here. Bears still bug out with foundations etc.īut it also allows you to learn the map a bit easier, or search for a cool spot to build a base and see how you want to lay it out etc. Considering the game is in alpha stages and very little of the content is released yet, I can see using cheats to test things out, speed up processes etc.īuild a huge base and test how the different parts work, such as last i knew steps dont work snapped directly to doorways. ![]()
